Thanks for pursuing this, Paul.

Is the Go Advanced tab in Word or in this forum? And where is it? I can't find it.

To delete the data connection, I clicked on the tab "Mailings", selected "Start Mail Merge" and then clicked on "Normal Word Document." If I do a save-as, I no longer have the problem. So is this how I should delete the data connection?
