Question Inserting rows disrupts xls comments

Hi all,

I'm first-time MSO Forums poster and xls newbie who would appreciate a little feedback to a small problem that I can't seem to resolve.

I've made myself a useful spreadsheet that is peppered with pertinent comments. It presents itself well.....that's the good news.

My problem is that whenever I insert a new row to this xls (say midway down the sheet), many of the comments that appear in the cells beneath my new row get disrupted. Either the box around the comment expands (no longer frames the text neatly) or worse......the box around the comment compresses (and the text is no longer legible).

I then have to go and resize the box around each affected comment individually.....there's got to be a better way to go about this!!

Could someone please explain how to insert rows to my spreadsheet without disrupting the existing comments in the cells of rows below??

TIA for any replies

ok

P.S. I'm using Microsoft Office Excel 2003
