Hi
Simply click on the blue "Quote" button in the bottom right hand corner of your entry and click on the paper clip. Click on browse to find the file to load and then click on upload.

Okay, try this....

Open the attached file (select Read Only if necessary).

See the comment in cell H17 ("Why do I sometime feel so confined")?

Now click on the blue cell (D12) and Insert a row (the blue cell moves to row 13).

Now go back to the comment (now located at H18).....can't read it right??

Even when you undo "Inset row", the comment remains corrupted.

Of course, it would be no problem to simply resize my rectangle to fit the text in this example but, keep in mind, the xls that i mentioned in my first post has many comments.....there's got to be a better way.

Hi

I have done what you have indicated in your spreadsheet and can recreate the problem. However I could not recreate it in a copy of the spreadsheet.
I tried it on a new spreadsheet and could not recreate the problem.
I copied your sample data to a new spreadsheet and could not recreate the problem.
I can only deduce there is a problem with your spreadsheet.
I have attached my sample so you can see.

Hmmmmm....

Maybe you're right Tony, it could be the spreadsheet. I hope I find a resolution though without having to sacrifice my xls, and the many hours of hard work that I put into creating it.

You could try coping all your data to a new spreadsheet (NOT SaveAs).
And see if that cures the issue.

You're right, this does work.

The comments seem to reset to their initial "lay-out" in the new spreadsheet.
