Default Hyperlink Does Not Work on Tabs Referencing the Cell with the Hyperlink

I have a hyperlink in a cell on a tab in Excel. You click it, it opens the link. I have three other tabs that reference that cell. The hyperlink appears in these other cells. But, if you click on them, the hyperlink doesn't work.

But, in other similar workbooks, this same situation ends with the hyperlinks working. I cannot see any formatting differences between the cells that work and the cells that don't.

Any ideas on how to make them all work? Or, what should I be looking for that some work and some don't?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

The contents of a cell and the hyperlink associated with the cell are independent variables.
If you copy/paste a cell that has a hyperlink then you get both the value and the hyperlink in the paste location. If you subsequently change the cell value to a formula "=SheetName!A1" then the value will update but the hyperlink address won't change unless you manually make those updates for each location.

Thank you so much for your reply. Excel clearly is not my specialty. So, please keep that in mind. I'm not trying to be a rock. I just lack knowledge.

I think I understand what you've said in your reply. But, I don't understand why some of my links work with the formula. With what you've said, I'd think none of them would work.

The formula in the cell references the other page and shows the link. And, the link works. But, not in all workbooks. I think in your response I should just copy and paste the hyperlink and not use the formula. I must be missing something here.
