Copy unique worksheet to another workbook refuses says columns rows differ

Hi, Excel 2013


I am following one methods to take a worksheet that exists in workbook 1 across to workbook 2 WHERE IT DOESNT EXIST. it refuses, so I try another method, again same refusal.



Method 1 drag and drop with ctrl held down, get an insertion point and release.
Method 2 right click the sheet and choose the destination workbook from a drop down list, choose the before or after existing sheet for the destination, click copy box, ok it.


Both these methods fail, they declare unable to do so as 'it contains fewer rows and columns' ot says, it then goes on to say to do so use copy paste into the existing sheet !
THERE IS NO EXISTING SHEET, thats why I want to copy the sheet not whats within it !
I am not copying into a sheet, I am copying a sheet that only exists in workbook 1 over to workbook 2 so it shouldnt even be counting rows and columns at all, !


Help !
