Your syntax is incorrect for the IF function and the LEFT function
Might I suggest you search for the correct syntax first?

I got it now. It was a SUMIF formula. Thank you.

=SUMIF(Amount!B2:B50,"*"&"Inventory"&"*", Amount!C2:C50)

Edit; for those interested in the correct formula for the original post, it was =SUMIF([Orderfilling.xlsx]Orderfilling!$K$5:$K$50, "CP", [Orderfilling.xlsx]Orderfilling!$L$5:$L$43)
