I'm always uncertain when I have to look for numbers that may be formatted in special ways. But Excel is pretty smart about finding "321" among various currency figures in my checkbook worksheet; it hits on 321, 321.25, 2321.55 and so on. So it can probably do it for times as well.

Can you post the worksheet you're searching in? One of us can try it for ourselves and see whether anything special is required.
