Hi I used to use Office 2007. I was looking forward to Office 2019 as the excel spread sheets open up in separate windows. I think there is a bug in this. I have an issue where I am unable to edit a cell or close the sheet down using the RED X. There is a solution. Click on another excel window and then back. Now it works. I think Microsoft have skimped on reusing code. It appears that excel is now still an MDI (Multiple document interface) pretending to be an SDI (Single document interface). Loosing focus to another sheet and regaining the focus fixes it. Loosing focus to another application like word doesn’t solve this.
