Windows 7 Home Edition, MS Office Professional 2007 (SP3).
When I dbl-clk my desktop Excel icon, all my excel files open stacked upon each other! My Excel Finances spreadsheet opens and displays, my Prescription record spreadsheet opens and displays, my reading list spreadsheet opens and displays, etc. I don't know which event caused this nor do I know how to correct it. Help! |

Try checking your XLSTART folder or open the file tab, select options, advanced, scroll down the dialog box until General. Under General, there's a box that says, "At start up, open all files in". Delete the file or folder there.

Thanks for responding.
The XLSTART folder is empty, I do know that several Excels files have suffix's "xlsx" while others use"xls", would this create that effect? |
