Default auto progress number evenly between two values across empty cells ?

Hi,
making time readings of a changing value that was happening too fast to write down all the times, assuming the changes were of equal time differences ( an ok assumption for what its for and what I saw), how can I select the two time entries and populate the cells between with an even progression of time values, with the entries as numbers and not showing a formula when clicked on ?
