The fundamental problem is that, if I try and set the last column to the max width that can fit in the page, it automatically makes all of the pages to the right of a filled page active. I can reduce the column size until another column can fit in, but then I have a blank column on my page.

I just want my last column to be max width without having to worry about creating extra pages =/
