Hi, I'm new to the forum so looking forward to both learning and contributing to this community where I can.
I am a bit stumped into how I can construct a formula to pull data from a data extract and have it populate a pre determined output template using the most efficient method. I have tried various ways using index and match and vlookup but to no real avail without going overboard. Can somebody give me some pointers please? Attached is a sample of data I am working with and an output required |

Here's one way...
In I3 copied over and down... =SUMPRODUCT(--($C$3:$C$23=$H3),--($D$3:$D$23=I$2),$E$3:$E$23) Another option is to use a pivot table |

Cheers Jeffrey, an eloquent solution. I didnt want to use a pivot as people (managers) tend to think of such things as "dark arts" that wnat nothing to do with.
Very much appreciated |

Perhaps showing them what they can achieve in a couple of seconds with a PT might help..
