Thanks, Gebobs, However I think I have managed to solve the problem. The entire folder containing the two or more linked workbooks must be in the same folder and the entire folder must be copied/emailed(after zipping). Otherwise the workbook will continue to look for the original link. If it is not there the workbook carries with it a ghost version of the link,
