word 2003 - letters joining together - please help

Hi, im am using microsoft office word 2003 and i use the font century gothic at work, but today everytime i try to use century gothic in font size 10 all the letters seem to stick together, any other size is fine just not 10!! which is not good because that is the font size i need.

would really appreciate any help. thanks
