Hi everyone,
I hope someone knows the answer to this question, as this has happened to me in 2-3 excel files in the past. In insert an URL in the first column & this carries over to the 2nd column when I start to type in it, but if you right click, you can't clear the URL b/c there isn't one in there. I've even tried to delete it, recreate it AND create a new column to the right of that one but it also does that. The column to the right of the bad one doesn't do that. I'm at a loss on what to do. Thank you Michelle |

Hi Michelle
Have you tried to erase the cell's format? Have a look at menue Home ---> there is a button with a symbol looks like an eraser on the far right side next to "sorting". That one should do the trick |

Hi there,
Can you tell me what it's called. I don't see anything that says "sorting", let alone something that looks like an eraser ![]() Thanks Michelle |

Ahhh, I found in in the "all commands" & added it to my quick launch.
Thank you VERY much. I'm going to start a new thread with a different question. Again, thank you & have a lovely day ![]() Michelle |
