![]()
Hello,
I'm pretty sure I was able to do this in prior versions of Excel but can't be sure: I want to surround a hyperlink with text. I want the text to stand apart from this link. Example: Beginning of text http://hyperlink.com end of text. The coloring and underlining are ok but I want it not to affect the Text. Hope that makes sense. If not really possible, not the end of the world. Thanks everyone for your input. Take care. |

Hi,
After you've added the hyperlink you can change the format of the cell's text so it has the same appearance as in your post, but a hyperlink is anchored to the cell - not to the text - so the hyperlink will be actioned if the user clicks anywhere within the cell and not just the bit of text which has been underlined/highlighted blue. |

Colin:
Bingo! I thought I had tried that and when it all turned blue again, I figured this had been changed somehow from the way I remembered it worked before. ![]() It's ofttimes we blame it on the map when we should be looking at the nut behind the wheel. ![]() Thank you and take care. |
