Hi!
I have a word doc with about a dozen form fields that I fill out, save as PDF, and send out to some clients. I copy/paste data from an excel spreadsheet to do this, which is tedious. Is there any excel macro to help me go from my excel data direct to a PDF without having to C/V to Word? Sorry I am new to learning VBA and don't even know where to start! Thank you. |

Is there a reason for not using mailmerge for this?

Mailmerge can definitely work. I was just wondering if there is a way to do it all via excel to avoid the extra steps of the word process.

Yes, it can be done via a macro, but that hardly makes it less complicated than a mailmerge - especially for an end-user who is unable to maintain the code when anything in the workbook or document changes.
