Suppose I draw box 1 near the top left of the page. Then a little bit to the right of that I draw box 2 toward the bottom of the page. I try to connect the right edge of box 1 to the left edge of box 2 using an elbow connector.
The elbow starts out right-->down-->right as I draw it. There is a yellow control point to move the horizontal line up and down. But as I drag it down to the second box, the elbow changes shape to down-->right-->down. Now the yellow control point is on a vertical line moving it back and forth. How can I prevent the shape from changing? If box 2 is far enough to the right of box 1 this does not happen. But as box 2 becomes fairly close to box 1, it always happens. Using Word 2007. Dale |
