Picture "Placeholder" in Word 2003

Hello everyone

This issue is giving me a serious headache.

I'm designing a weekly news letter template for a company of computer illiterates. They need to be able to exchange pictures in a preformated frame. The most essential formatting is width and height - the new picture can not exceed the preset values.

I'm thought there would be something like a picture placeholder with drag-and-drop-function, 'click to replace' or something like that. Haven't found anything yet.

I would much appreciate all kind of tips and trix.
