That’s entirely down to your printer. Unless you set your printer to full bleed you will have the required paper handling margins.

In my case there has been no change in the printer set up. It's an A5 size plus 3mm bleed all round. Items/pictures placed on the page and positioned to fall into the bleed area 'shrink' so as not to bleed.
