If you see the same things as discussed earlier in this thread, and the troubleshooting didn't give any results, make sure that you have the proper access rights to the user templates folder (where the Normal template resides).

Hi Stefan,

Thank you for your help with this. I really appreciate it. I am logged in as administrator. I even tried deleting the Template folder, copying and pasting from another computer where Word works as it should with no success.
