Hi Stefan,
I tried all those things, to no avail. I think it has something to do with a bad Normal.dotm file creator. If I delete the Normal file and start Word, it will work fine. If I exit and then restart Word again, the problem resurfaces. As I said earlier, I don't have any problems with saving files in Excel, just Word. I don't know if this helps, but I used to have Word 2003 on this machine and had no problem with it. Any other thoughts? Anybody?
