Hi Susan,

Ordinarily, if hyperlinks were disabled, one might expect to see a message like:

The operation has been canceled due to restriction in effect on the computer. Please contact you system administrator.

Do you get this or any other error message? See, for example: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829072
