I am preparing a manuscript for submission and there is a template that I need to use. I have downloaded the template file, but I am not able to get the template to appear in the list(s) under "new from template". I have put a copy of the template in the folder, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates. I closed word and opened it again, but when I do file > new and then new from template in the word doc that opens, the template is not visible under any of the tabs.
There are two folders in the templates folder, 1033, and Presentation Designs. I have tried putting the template in both of these folders and I have also created a new folder ACS_templates in the templates folder. I have also placed the ACS_templates folder inside of the 1033 folder as well. Nothing seems to work. I have attached the template to this post in case anyone needs to see it. Any suggestions as to what to try next, I can't think of anything else. LMHmedchem |
