![]() Indeed, if Quick Styles and Quick Style sets should work properly across different documents, list styles can't be used. It would be required to link bullet (or numbering) formatting to paragraph styles which can then be added to a Quick Style set. To apply the bullet, apply the paragraph style. If you are working with single-level (bulleted or numbered) lists, set up the list formatting directly in the Modify Style dialog box. You can see how this is done in the built-in List Bullet style. A better approach in cases such as this one is to create a template with the styles set up and avoid using the Quick Styles feature.
