Hello, Recently I've noticed that it takes from 20 to 25 seconds for WORD to open. I don't recall having this problem previously.
I am running Windows Vista and WORD 2007. Any suggestions / help would be appreciated. Tks .. |

There are many things that could impact Word's startup performance, including:
• other processes that are running at the same time • the loading of 3rd-party addins • the loading of templates over a network • damaged program files and/or templates • poorly coded printer drivers Repairing Word might help (Word Options|Resources|Diagnose) - at least it will minimize the risk that the problem is due to a fault in Word itself.

Thank you for the suggestions re how to make more WORD more efficient. I ran the Diagnostics; it repaired a problem and WORD opens much faster than before.
