Hi all,
I have lost the standard tabs in the ribbon bar (I have the tabs for add-ins). I have tried to delete the data file in the registry but that has not worked. Any thoughts? Thanks |

Are they really lost or just "minimized" (that is, you can see Home, Insert, Page Layout, etc. but not the groups of commands)? In that case, double-click "Home," for example, and the display will be back to normal.

The ribbon isn't minimized. Here is a screen print. The only tabs available are the two add ins.

I see. Have you tried disabling the add-ins then?

It worked. I had to run word as administrator to disable some of the add-ins. When disabling adobe word crashed and upon reboot the tabs are back with the add-ins disabled. I guess there is one add in that is still corrupting word (not adobe), if I add it I go back to losing the tabs again.
Thank you |

Note that you can figure out which addin is causing trouble by following the steps in the following KB article: How to troubleshoot problems that occur when you start or use Word 2010, Word 2007, Word 2003, or Word 2002.
