Default Can you embed a quicktime movie into a word document?

I have a coworker who was wondering if it is possible to embed a movie (in this case, a quicktime movie) into a word document. She asked me to create a link to the movie. I was able to do that, but it occurred to me that in order for that to work, the actual movie had to be on the same machine as the link/document. If I understood her correctly, she wants to include a link in the document, and then have the movie play when it is clicked on.

Am I right about my assumption that the movie and document have to be on the same machine? Or is it in fact possible to include a movie in the document itself and be able to play it with click, and if so, can anyone tell me how to do that?
