Default page border driving me nuts on resume

I have just spent the past hour trying to remove borders from my resume and nothing has worked. When I upload the resume there are large empty grey boxes and when I look under normal view I see a page border dashed line.

I tried going above the dashed line then going to format border and shading and selecting none under page borders it just jumps to a print layout view with 3 pages (there are 2) and when I switch back to view normal the dashed line is still there. I tried slecting the whole document and selecting nothing right when I open it and doing the same thing and still no joy. I'd be happy to email the doc if someone wants to see it.

BTW the resume looks perfectly fine when I print or print preview it it is just a problem under normal view or when uploading it.
