Hi All,
thank you for advance. We have a Word 2003 document that includes some control toolbox check boxes. Every time we open the document, we have to exit edit mode. how to disable the control toolbox Edit Mode? |

The check boxes from the Control Toolbox are ActiveX controls, and it is macro security that forces Design mode when you open the document. I do not recommend you to reduce macro security. Instead, delete the ActiveX controls and make use of ordinary form fields (which you can insert from the Forms toolbar).
