Does anyone know how to configure Word 2010 to open with the templates screen on startup so the users must select a custom template on startup? Currently the users need to open word, select file, new, my templates and i want this screen to come up automatically.

I did see this KB but it will only work for a single template. I want Word to open and go to my templates list automatically. We have about 5 templates.

Hi Mark
If you only have five templates and the names are static could you not have five shortcuts on your desktop with the MS Word icon and the name of each template as the shortcut name. Then you can launch the relevant template from the shortcut on your desktop. Hope this helps. Tony(OTPM) |
