I am using Word 2003/SP3 with Windows 7.
Sometimes when I try to open a word document, I am prompted "The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open" I click OK, and underneath is a 2nd prompt saying "word automatically saved changes to the normal document template. do you want to change it? Yes/No Also when I try to close a word file it takes ages, and then comes up with "not responding" - and eventually prompts - "The normal file already exists. Do you want to replace the existing file?" Then usually comes up with - "Microsoft Office Word has stopped working - Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" And so it goes on and on - most frustrating. I have looked for solutions on the web - none seem to fit my problem exactly. Can anyone please help me? |
