The exact location of your Building Blocks.dotx templates will be determined by your installation path and user name. The Building Blocks.dotx template in the parrallel Documents and Settings folder is the (working) Building Blocks template and the default "Save in" template whenever you attempt to create a new building block. The working template isn't loaded until you attempt to acccess your building blocks by clicking on a gallery control or the organizer. This accounts for the intial short delay displaying building blocks on first use in a Word session. Sometimes the working template can be corrupted. When this happens you can delete the working template and then close and restart Word. When Word restarts, a new working template is created from the original distribution template.
