Hey, macropod — thanks for the response! Not what I wanted to hear, but so it goes. I didn't really explain my goal. The issue is not to isolate one reviewer's comments (although I appreciate that tip) but to avoid changing the IDs of existing comments. The problem with this occurs when the first reviewer refers to another of his own comments. For example, comment [AY3] might say, "See the change I made in [AY8]." But if the second reviewer adds a comment ahead of [AY8], [AY8] becomes [AY9]. Therefore, the second reviewer has to scan the first reviewer's comments and manually update all such references to keep them accurate. Ah well. Maybe some day we'll get an option to change this.
