![]() Hi there. Can anyone help me out? I am removing a piece of text with endnotes out of the main text to a footnote. The references in the removed text have to remain intact. But as soon as I past the text with endnotes to the footnote, all individual endnotes are changing into the specific number of the footnote - and therefore are not longer refering to the relevant endnotes. Suggestions are very appreciated! Regards from the Netherlands. |

Hi Kerstin,
You can't have an endnote's reference point inside a footnote or vice-versa. Footnotes and endnotes can have cross-references to each other, but the footnotes and endnotes both have to be anchored to the body of the document.

Hi Paul, tnx. So it is really not possible to add a real piece of text in the footnote as for instance commentary, and referring to a publication in the refference list??? I am so surprised!
