hi, is it possible to make the hyperlink follow the main folder. If I make the document on one cmputer and copy it over to another computer the adresse on the hyperlink would't match.

I need the hyperlink to work even if a burn it on a cd or copy the document on another computer

You could add the link updating macro attached to my post at:
http://windowssecrets.com/forums/sho...External-Files
to your document.

Do note, though, that this won't alter the hyperlink display text - if that's got the path info, that's what will continue to display.
