I am trying to change an existing Microsoft Word 2003 template. It's the 28 line legal pleading template found here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...006087001.aspx
After much effort searching menus, I was able to change the "Summary of Pleading" text at the bottom of the page by selecting View -> Header and Footer. (I changed it to just be the page number.) How do I change the vertical lines on the left and right of the page, and the line numbers - 1 to 28? All that stuff needs to be a darker font. Thanks (Microsoft Word 2003) |

Hi Sarah,
The lines and line numbers are attached to the page header. To edit them, you need to access the page header. That may be unnecessary, however, as the semi-opaque appearance affects only the on-screen appearance - to help you distinguish what's in the body of the document from what's not. The actual lines & numbers are already black and will print as such.
