Hi matman,
It sounds like you need to format the page #s by selecting one of the page #s, then choosing 'Format Page Number' via the small down arrow on the Page # box.

I've done that already, in every section. The INDEX field seems to ignore this.
However, I figured it out. Although my page numbers are on the bottom of the page, I need to select the HEADER and then insert and format a page number. I can then remove this, but doing so seems to be what controls the index format. -m@ |
