Is there anyway that I can know if one word document contains the same words/names as another word document?

Hi alexb123,
Basically, it's a matter of doing a 'Find' for each word you're interested in. If you can put those words in a table at the start of the document in question, the macro I posted at the link below will automate the search and return a count of any matches: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...c-68b599b31bf5 Note: The table as coded requires 3 columns, with the data in the 2nd column. Some minor edits would allow it to work with a 2-column table.
