Hi Paul,
Appreciate your taking the time to respond. I did what you said, but it didn't work. It did change the situation. Before, when I opened Word, Document1 would come up, and it would stay there in the Taskbar when I opened an existing document. Now, Document1 disappears from the Taskbar when I open an existing document (just as always). But when I close the existing document, Document1 is still there, and I still have to exit it. Do you have any other suggestions. Again, I appreciate your kindness. Best, Art |
