Thanks Ulodesk and Paul. Both are helpful comments. I will be able to use the Insert Object method.

I tried copy/paste but lost the formatting (columns).

One followup: the text in the imported pdf object is fuzzy, not nearly as sharp as the original pdf. Any suggestions?
