You can import PDF pages by using Insert/Object then browsing to the PDF files.
Auto page numbering is often easiest within the footer. Open the footer and use Insert/Page Number. If your document has no section breaks, automatically generated numbers will appears wherever you place the first one in the footer. You can format the numbering by goign the same route, Insert/Page number, but then selecting Format page number. Best, Ulodesk |

That is only useful for Objects that span no more than a single page. Multi-page PDFs cannot be displayed as such in Word; for these, you need to either split the PDFs into multiple single-page documents or copy & paste the individual page contents into Word.
