I am trying to insert a page into an existing document. I go to the place I want to add the new page and insert a page break. And change the text to Heading1. No matter what I do I can't seem to figure out where all the white space above Header 1 is coming from. I f I try and bring the line up it just removes the page break and brings it up to the previous page.
Seems to happen on two different machines 1 with word 2007 the other with with word 2010

Hi ellinj,
Have you checked the Heading1 paragraph's leading space setting?

Actually, it doesn't seem to be particular to a heading I can insert a page break in the middle of a paragraph and the text on the new page will start much to far down the page.
