Hi Aluviel,
That suggests you've changed a Style definition. With an offending paragraph, go to Format|Style. What Style name do you see highlighted? If you continue from there to Modify|Format|Font, you should be able to uncheck the 'small caps' option (assuming it is checked). After fixing the formatting, you can go to Format|Style|Organizer and copy the updated Style to your 'Normal' template.

Ok thank you. I have done that and sometimes it still slips back into wanting to go into small caps again. It has helped cut down some of the wasted time fiddleing with it by hand.
