Hi Iammuffinman,
Are you sure there isn't any corruption in the image file? Does this affect all wmf & emf images? Have you tried repairing Office (eg Word Options|Resources|Diagnose)?

I have tried it on different Windows 7 Office 2010 PCs. I even tried it on a newly installed Win7/Office 2010, but the problem is the same.
I understand that I could resize and recrop the photo to see the whole image. But is there a tweak or modification that I could do, say in the registry to avoid the automatic cropping? It's not a copying or pasting problem. Actually it is when I "Insert" a photo. In Word, go to the Insert tab, under the Illustrations group, choose Picture. At this point, I choose an EMF or WMF file, but the picture gets cropped/truncated. I understand that I could resize and recrop the photo to see the whole image. But is there a tweak or modification that I could do, say in the registry to avoid the automatic cropping? |
