Just as the MVPs explained to you last July, Word has a limitation of 22 inches; Excel does not.

In Word, page height is stored in a memory location whose maximum value is 32767 (sometimes called a "16 bit signed integer" data type).

The measurement is twips. There are 1440 twips in an inch. Since 32767/1440 = 22.75, the maximum page height is just over 22 inches.

I presume Microsoft regrets that this was set as this data type way back when.
