Automatically Hyperlink phrases
Is there a way that I can tell word to automatically hyperlink certain phrases? Word is my Outlook editor, and I'm trying to speed up and increase function of my e-mails. For example, every time I type pay online, I'd like it to hyperlink pay online to our online payment webform, membership benefits to the benefits page, join to the membership application webform, etc. Surely there's some way I can create a rule... maybe autocorrect?? Under AutoCorrect>Replace Text as You Type the Plain Text and Formatted Text buttons are grayed out.
In the main document, create a hyperlink and highlight it. ALT+T+O Proofing>AutoCorrect and the hyperlink is already there-- you just type in what your want replaced. The language is * HYPERLINK http://www.... and I can't see the rest. YAY! Last edited by TinaIgnatiev; 12-22-2010 at 01:20 PM. Reason: found solution! |

DUDE! Figured it out. Open an e-mail. create the hyperlink that you want autocorrect to put in. Put a few spaces after it so that when you highlight it, word doesn't highlight the invisble return/enter. Right Click > Customize Quick access toolbar.Proofing>Autocorrect, hit the radio button next to formatted text, type in the plain text at left. Boo-yah!
