Hey!
When I open a word-dokument, do a change and then try to save it it sometimes says that the docuemnt is write-protected. Well the problem it that the document is NOT write-protected. Kinda annoying, I have to open a new document and copy-paste the text into that one (well that's one of the solutions:P) Can somebody help me?:P Thanks in advice! /David |

Are you working on a network or on a standalone machine? When you say the document is not write protected, how have you checked this?

A standalone machine.
I right-click on the file, choose "properties" and there I'm able to check. AND this happens not everytime a make a change, only now and then, and I never change any settings on the file:P ... |

I've had that happen, too, but you don't have to copy/cut and paste...
Just do a "save as," and give it a new name, maybe just add a number to the end. cjc |
