How do I eliminate those blue "reverse arrows" that are some sort of paragraph mark. Can't select them, can't find and replace, won't reformat.
This question has been asked many time on Microsoft office help, without an answer. Thanks much Larryo Word for Mac 2023, Mac OS 15.3.2 |

You asked the same question 5 years ago. https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...character.html
They are manual line breaks. You can use Find to replace them. The following will replace them with paragraph marks. Screenshot 2025-03-31 175035.png |

First, these do not print.
They are manual line breaks. Everything you show is a single Word paragraph. You can turn off the display of non-printing paragraph marks. That is likely done with the paragraph mark symbol on your Home tab in the paragraph group. You can use Replace. Find: ^l; Replace ^p. That may change the spacing. |
