Question font size doesn't change

I can't resize the following character → Alt+x code:05DB

If I change its size from ribbon (number1 in the picture) all works fine but if I change from number2 in picture it's size remains unchanged(if I open again window:2 it shows the new size 16px but actually it is 12px just it showed in the ribbon)
If I press Alt+x twice then it's size will update to 16px.

My problem is that I have a file with over 100 such characters and I want to reduce the character size. The find/replace window shows: 117 elements replaced , but none of them actually change until I press alt+x twice. I tried closing/reopening the file but no change. What can I do?
